Member firm of a three firm team selected to provide professional consultant services. Consultant to the County for review of 90 to 100 County operated buildings for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The buildings reviewed were many different building types, including approximately 12 historic properties.
Responsibilities: Project Architect for physical site survey, documentation, review and recommendations for access compliance.

County Administration Center Architectural Barriers Compliance Program

Project Architect selected to provide accessibility access in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The County Administration Center is a National Register building built by a consortium of the most prestigious architects in San Diego as a WPA project in 1936. The project is designed to conform to The Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties, as well as, meeting the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the State of California Administrative Code Title 24.
Responsibilities: Project Architect for physical site survey, documentation, review and recommendations for access compliance. Project Architect for agency review, existing structure documentation, design development, construction documentation and construction observation. |
